RP Ascano, Ph.D., LP, is board certified in forensic psychology by the American College of Forensic Psychology. He has been admitted as an expert witness in several district court in Minnesota, North Dakota and in federal court in North Dakota and South Dakota. Since relocating to Colorado, he has been admitted as expert witness in El Paso County District Court. Dr Ascano was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Forensic Psychiatry, UND, School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavior Science, Emeritus. He was also board certified in Traumatology by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, Emeritus. He has performed several hundred “violent risk assessments” e.g., homicide, filicide, stalking, etc. for district courts in Minnesota and North Dakota over 33 years.
