The Colorado School for Family Therapy is approved and regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Private Occupation School Board. The School is also approved for veterans’ benefits by the Colorado State Approving Agency.
Clinicians with a Master’s degree in a mental health-related field, mental health professionals, licensure candidates, licensees, and graduate students in counseling-related disciplines are eligible to enter the program.
Class Information:
Classes are held on alternating weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), 9:00 a.m.-
5:00 p.m. (with a lunch break). Independent study classes are available
Requirements/Tuition:
Requirements include 120 contact hours of education. Each class is 30 contact hours/3 credit hours.

The theoretical approach taught is systemic/relational. The five required
classes include:
• Sex Therapy: Relationship Issues
• Sex Therapy: Medical and Physiological Issues
• Sex Therapy: Disorders and Dysfunctions
• Sex Therapy: Abuse, Trauma, and Deviance
The total program cost is $2,800.00. Each of the five classes may be taken as “stand-alone courses” at the cost of $700.00 per class. Students may earn their Certificate in the virtual learning format.
